TATTOOLAPALOOZA
so i got back from miami this week after attending the first tattoolapalooza convention.
i could die in miami.
it’s funny, because i hate the humidity so much. and i hate the heat. but for some reason the presence of palm trees makes it okay. we stayed on south beach, partied in south beach, ate in south beach….pretty much chilled for 4 days in south beach. i got to eat at some fantastic places and stay in a great hotel. but my dumb ass didn’t go on the beach once. i mean, i’m not a big fan of the ocean, or sand, or the entire beach experience, but still. miami beach. i should have gone in at least once.
the convention went decent. the first day was slow, but it picked up a lot on day two. i ended up doing 4 tattoos over the weekend, which was pretty cool. there was a great lineup too. i met a lot of artists i really admire and respect, so that was awesome just to be on a bill with that sort of talent.
thanks go out to all the guys who put together tattoolapalooza. they really treated us right and i had a great time.
